十载春秋 再创辉煌――中医工程学科十周年回顾

   上海中医药大学中医工程学科十周年回顾暨学术研讨会隆重召开

  由上海中医药大学、上海市中医药研究院共同主办,上海中医药大学针灸推拿学院、国家中医药管理局中医药工程学重点学科共同承办的“上海中医药大学中医工程学科十周年回顾暨学术研讨会”于2011年3月27日在上海中医药大学国际教育交流中心隆重召开。上海中医药大学校长、中国科学院院士陈凯先教授,副校长刘平教授、施建蓉教授,国家中医药管理局人事教育司洪净副司长,中国生物医学工程学会中医药工程分会主任委员、中国中医科学院常务副院长刘保延教授莅临开幕式并分别致辞,表示祝贺。会议邀请到中国科学院院士、学部委员王守觉教授,中国中医科学院首席研究员翁维良教授,原复旦大学副校长周鲁卫教授,以及天津中医药大学中医工程学院,湖北中医药大学、南京中医药大学等兄弟院校的相关学科专家进行专题报告及学术交流。

  陈凯先院士致辞中讲到:“近代科学的发展历程表明,科学上的重大突破,往往是在不同学科交叉和渗透的过程中形成,交叉学科的出现,不仅改变了传统的学科结构,也对原有学科的发展起到积极的作用。中医工程学科作为祖国传统医学与现代科学工程技术相融合的一门新兴交叉学科,具有鲜明的中医特色,标志着中医未来发展的方向之一,也是中医现代化过程中的必由之路,上海中医药大学中医工程学科从2001年之初建立至今,开展了以中医特色为主导的多学科间的相互交叉、相互吸收、相互融合,在科研、教学、成果转化、人才培养以及学术交流等方面都取得了一定的成绩,为中医现代化发展做出了应有的贡献。”

  洪净副司长在会议上做了重要讲话,肯定了上海中医药大学中医工程学科成立10年来在科研、教学、人才培养等方面做的大量工作,并讲到:“中医药工程学科发展,不但有利于解决中医继承与发展进程中的各种理论与技术问题,而且对进一步促进中医学的现代化和推动中医药事业的发展有着十分重要的意义,并希望上海中医药大学中医药工程学科不断进取,努力创新,积极开展中医工程技术与应用方面的研究与探索,并借鉴国内外一流大学的生物医学工程学科以及相关学科的发展经验,努力在中医诊疗技术客观化、规范化和标准化等方面做出新的成绩,同时,进一步完善多学科交叉研究平台的建设,加强人才梯队的培养,以科研项目为依托,为中医教学及临床提供新的手段和方法,促进产学研相结合,建立具有中医特色和自主创新能力的中医药工程学科,为建设一流的中医药工程学科而努力。”

  上海中医药大学中医工程教研室主任杨华元教授首先向与会嘉宾及代表汇报了上海中医药大学中医工程学科十年建设历程和取得的教学、科研成果。同时围绕“中医工程学科发展展望”的主题,与会代表就本学科发展在传统中医发展及现代化进程中的地位和作用、现今全国高校中医工程学科人才培养和教材编写现状、开设专业情况及学科发展对策等作了广泛深入的交流与探讨,特别是多学科交叉思维方法的创新与突破,学术领域的进一步拓宽,促进中医诊疗设备量化、规范化、标准化的制定,结合临床应用的教学及科研方法体系完善,产学研联动纽带的建立,互联网协作及数据共享平台的搭建等议题成为了讨论热点。

  当前传统中医正面临着前所未有的发展机遇,同时也面临着严峻的挑战。中医工程学虽然仍是一门新兴学科,但作为中医发展重要的组成部分,其必将成为中医现代化的探索途径之一。“工欲善其事,必先利其器”,与会代表一致认为以本次会议为契机,在各界同仁集思广益,精诚协作下,中医工程学的前景将更为广阔与灿烂,其不断进步与提高也将为中医药的可持续发展及中医、中药走向世界作出重要贡献。

Tenth Anniversary Conference of TCM engineering disciplines and academic Seminar

Tenth Anniversary Conference of TCM engineering disciplines and academic Seminar was held in communication center of international education of Shanghai University of TCM. Chen Kaixian, president of Shanghai University of TCM, Liu Ping, vice president, Professor Shi Rong, Si Hongjing, vice director of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine Personnel, and Professor Liu Baoyan, chairman of Medical Engineering Branch of the Chinese Society of Biomedical Engineering, vice dean of Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine came to the opening ceremony and delivered speeches and congratulations respectively. Professor Wang Shoujue, academician of the Chinese Academy of Science, Professor Weng Weiliang, chief researcher of the Chinese Academy of TCM, Professor Zhou Luwei, former vice president of Fudan University, and other experts from Tianjin University of TCM, Hubei University of TCM, and Nanjing University of TCM were invited to give special reports and exchange academic ideas.

Academician Chen Kaixian gave his speech, "The course of development of modern science shows that major scientific breakthrough is often formed in the crossing and penetration of different disciplines.The emergence of cross-disciplines, not only changed the traditional disciplinary structure, but also played a positive role in the original disciplines.TCM engineering discipline, as a new cross-displine which integrates traditional medicine with modern science and engineering technology, has its distinct TCM characteristics, marking TCM development future direction. TCM engineering discipline is the only way in the process of the TCM modernization.From 2001 to now, in Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, TCM engineering discipline carried out multi-courses with TCM characteristics.In research, teaching, achievements, personnel training and academic exchanges, TCM engineering discipline has made some achievements, and made much contribution to the development of the TCM modernization".

Hong Jing, gave an important speech to affirm the achievements of Medicine TCM engineering disciplines in research, teaching, talents cultivation in the last ten years and said, "the development of TCM engineering disciplines, not only is beneficial to solve all kinds of academic and technological problems about the inheritance and improvement of TCM, but also will play an important role in promoting the development of TCM modernization and TCM itself. And I hope that TCM engineering disciplines will continue to make progress, and strive for innovation and actively carry out the TCM engineering research and exploration.  Learn from the development experience of biomedical engineering disciplines and related disciplines in the first class universities at home and abroad, and strive to make new achievements in the objectification, normalization, and standardization of TCM diagnosis and treatment. At the same time, further improve and perfect the construction of a multidisciplinary research platform to strengthen the cultivation of talent. Relying on research projects, to provide new means and methods for TCM teaching and clinical treatment and promote a combination of industry, teaching, and research. Establish TCM engineering discipline with the TCM characteristic and work hard for building first-class TCM engineering disciplines.

 Traditional Chinese medicine is facing unprecedented opportunities for development, while also facing serious challenges. TCM engineering is still a new discipline. But as an important part of the development of TCM, it’s bound to be one of the many ways of exploring the modernization of TCM. If we want to be good at something, we must make its tool sharp.  All delegates agreed that this meeting is an opportunity. Under the collective wisdom of all walks of life and sincere cooperation, the prospects of TCM engineering will be broader and magnificent. Its continuous improvement will also make an important contribution to the sustainable development of TCM,and Chinese herbals.
