2011年12月7日，上海中医药大学针灸推拿助残志愿者工作研讨会于上海中医药大学召开。上海市慈善基金会副理事长夏秀蓉、上海中医药大学副校长余小明、教务处副处长林勋、市慈善基金会义工部和救助委代表、助残志愿者服务队教师代表以及上海中医药大学2011级针灸推拿学（视障大专班）学员代表参加了会议。 首先，针灸推拿学院沈雪勇院长做了关于上海中医药大学助残志愿者服务工作的汇报，全面介绍了针灸推拿学院在发挥专业特色，服务特殊人群的志愿者服务工作。助残志愿者教师代表徐俊、志愿者代表王晓宇、学员代表袁海珍、任胜分别发言。之后，上海市慈善基金会与上海中医药大学的领导、老师关于共建助残教育基地事项开展了充分的交流和讨论，形成了初步共识。 随后，校余小明副校长代表学校向参加会议的各位领导、老师、志愿者、学员代表表示热烈的欢迎，特别感谢市慈善基金会对学校助残志愿者工作的指导和支持。余校长从“学校针灸推拿学（视障班）专业人才培养、对助残志愿工作的各项支持、助残志愿工作的发展思路及面临的具体情况”等方面做了详细阐述。余校长指出：“助残工作不仅仅是一份工作，更是一项事业，我们应该努力营造全社会关心残疾人士的氛围，帮助他们得到更多的社会尊重。需要加强研究，依靠更多的社会力量，做好今后的助残志愿工作”。 最后，市慈善基金会夏秀蓉副理事长讲话，她指出：“此次研讨会意义重大，上海中医药大学针灸推拿学院助残志愿者服务队成立以来，获得了上海市级和学校的多项荣誉，希望今后继续倡导助残新风尚，开辟爱心新天地，为助残工作做出更大的奉献”。同时表示，“上海市慈善基金会将通过各种渠道，努力为上海中医药大学大学助残志愿工作提供帮助，共同为助残工作做出贡献，促进社会和谐。” 此次会议的顺利召开，将进一步推动上海中医药大学的助残志愿工作的发展。 针灸推拿学院 2011-12-8
“One Good Turn Deserves Another”― The Seminar of Voluntarily Helping the Disabled by Acupuncture and Tuina Jointly Held by Shanghai Charity Foundation and Shanghai University of TCM On the 7th of December,2011, The Seminar of voluntarily helping the disabled by acupuncture, moxibustion and tuina was held in Shanghai University of TCM. The meeting was attended by Xia Xiurong, the vice chairman of Shanghai Charity Foundation, Yu Xiaoming, the vice president of SUTCM , Lin Xun, the associate director of the educational department, committee representatives of volunteer department of Municipal Charity Foundation and rescue committee, the faculty representatives of volunteer service team for the disabled and the student representatives from the 2011th grade major of acupuncture , moxibustion and tuina (namely the college class of the visually impaired students). First of all , Shen Xueyong , the president of school of acupuncture and tuina, gave an account of the voluntary work for the disabled which was proceed in Shanghai University of TCM and comprehensively introduced the voluntary work for the disabled initiated in our school by giving a full play of the major characteristics. Xu Jun who is the faculty representative of volunteers, Wang Xiaoyu who is the representative of volunteers , Yuan Haizhen and Ren Sheng who are the student representatives gave their talk respectively. Followed by the sufficient communication and discussion, the leaders and teachers of the Shanghai Charity Foundation and Shanghai University of TCM formed a preliminary agreement for the construction of educational base of helping the disabled. After that , Yu Xiaoming, the vice president of our university, extended our cordial welcome to all the leaders, teachers , volunteers ,the student representatives presented in the meeting and sent special thanks to the guide and support of the Shanghai Charity Foundation to the voluntary work in our university. Vice president Yu Xiaoming made a detailed statement in several aspects such as the cultivation of professional talents of the acupuncture, moxibustion and tuina ( the college class of the visually impaired students), the supporting work for the disabled , the development ideas of the voluntary work for the disabled and the specific circumstances that we are faced with. Yu has pointed out that the work of helping the disabled is not only a work, but also an undertaking that we should spare no efforts to set up the atmosphere that the whole society cares the disadvantaged people and help them to receive more respects of the society. It is necessary for us to strengthen the research and ensure the future volunteer work by relying on the social forces. In the end ,Xiang Xiurong , the vice chairman of Shanghai Charity Foundation, indicated the magnificent significance of this seminar and hoped that our university would continually propose the fashion of helping the disadvantaged , open a new area and make more contributions to the voluntary work for the disabled because SUTCM has already gained lots of reputation of municipal and university levels since the foundation of the volunteer work team for the disabled in the school of acupuncture, moxibustion and tuina. And meanwhile, she expressed that Shanghai Charity Foundation would offer help for the volunteer work in SUTCM through all kinds of channels, jointly make contributions to the voluntary work for the disabled and promote the harmony of the society.
