Teaching with True Heart and Making Progress Together-School of Acupuncture and Tuina Students' Moral Themed Educational Program

On the afternoon of May 22, 2012, School of Acupuncture and Tuina Students' Moral Themed Educational Activities “Teaching with True Heart and Making Progress Together――students and class teachers, face to face” was held on the third floor in the Administration Building. Yu Xiaoming, Vice-President of Shanghai University of TCM, Che Ronghua, assistant minister of Student’s Work Department, Liang Shanghua, secretary of Party General Branch in the school of Acupuncture and Tuina, and all the class teachers in the college attended the event.

The whole process was mainly carried on in the form of asking and answering between student and teachers face to face. First, every class teacher gave a self-introduction on learning experience and working content. Students asked different kinds of questions actively on what they were focusing or what they had no idea. The topics covered a wide range including career, scientific innovation, love, ect. Teachers, Lin Ling, Wang Yanli, Yang Liu and Wan Jie gave a talk on these topics in detail to the students according to their own working experiences. After the asking and answering section, they shared the stories they experienced which touched them most in their work. Once their eyes were filled with tears, and the stories received loud applause from the audience. At last, Yu Xiaoming,  vice-president, gave wonderful comment. He appreciated the form and the content of the College Students' Moral Themed Educational Activities and traced back to his own experience in student’s work. He also encouraged the teachers to pay more efforts for greater achievement and wished students to be excellent practitioners of Chinese Medicine after a few years’ hard work.

Through the activity, students learned more about teachers’ work and understood better their caring for students. I believe, after the conference, the relationship between students and teachers will be more harmonious.
